What you can expect from us
Data Modeling & DAX Optimization: Creating and maintaining high-performance data models based on our clients’ requirements, as well as developing efficient DAX formulas and calculations to ensure optimal performance and analytics.
Data Quality & Performance: Designing and implementing modular data models that ensure high data quality and integrity, and optimizing load times and performance in Power BI dashboards and reports.
Data Pipelines & Integration: Design, development, and optimization of high-performance data pipelines that enable efficient, scalable, and secure processing of data from various sources. This includes the integration of different data sources and formats (relational, JSON, XML) for seamless analysis.
DevOps is practiced throughout the organization: As part of a DevOps team, you’ll independently develop data sources and data pipelines to ensure effective data delivery for use cases and their implementation.
Communication is key: You’ll be in constant, close contact with your clients to ensure professional expectation management and client satisfaction; with your project team to ensure project success; and, of course, with the Woodmark team to foster knowledge sharing and mutual support.

What you bring to the table
Project Experience: You have at least three years of experience developing data models, data pipelines, and analytical solutions.
Expertise is a given: You’re comfortable working with the Microsoft Power Platform, particularly with Power BI (including DAX and Power Query), Power Automate, and Power Apps. You have experience implementing analytical data models (e.g., Data Vault 2.0) using SQL, dbt Core, or Python, as well as applying data protection and security policies and adhering to best practices in this area. You have expertise in working with various data structures and storage models (3NF, Data Vault, star schema).
A stakeholder-oriented mindset helps us move forward: You’re experienced in collaborating with stakeholders at various levels.

Excellent German and English skills: You’re comfortable with the German language and English documentation, and you can participate when English is spoken during project work.
